On April 24, 2026, Dr. Godwin Terwase Kave turns 50 — and what a fifty years it has been. From the red laterite roads of Mbaade in Mbagen, Buruku Local Government Area, to the oil fields of Port Harcourt, the lecture halls of the University of Calabar and the corridors of the United Nations, Dr. Kave has walked a path that few could have imagined and even fewer could have sustained.
He is a geologist who became an entrepreneur. An entrepreneur who became a philanthropist. A philanthropist who became a UN Ambassador of Peace. And through every chapter of that journey, the people of Benue State have been at the centre of his heart.
At 50, Dr. Kave does not slow down — he accelerates. The establishment of KEEF, the Kave Economic & Empowerment Foundation, is his gift to the people: a structured, sustainable vehicle for the humanitarian work he has always done quietly, and will now do loudly, boldly and at scale.

Born in Mbaade, Mbagen district, Buruku LGA, Benue State — the 3rd child of Mr. Celestine and Mrs. Susan Kave Anjembe.
Graduated with Second Upper Division in Geology from the Federal University of Technology, Yola — the foundation of a distinguished career.
Began his professional career as a Field Engineer at Weafri Well Services Ltd, Warri — entering the oil & gas industry with distinction.
Founded Pumpking Oilfield Services Ltd — his first major entrepreneurial venture, establishing him as a leading figure in Nigeria's oil & gas services sector.
Obtained his MSc in Economic Geology/Mineral Exploration from the University of Calabar — combining academic excellence with decades of industry experience.
Designated UN Ambassador of Peace by the United Nations' May Peace Prevail on Earth International — a global recognition of his humanitarian work.
Awarded his Ph.D in Mineral Exploration from the University of Calabar — cementing his status as both a scholar and a practitioner of the highest order.
National and community awards received for humanitarian service, leadership and excellence — from Rotary Club International to the Nigerian Society of Engineers.
Officially launches KEEF on his 50th birthday — transforming a lifetime of personal philanthropy into a structured foundation for lasting community impact.
