Amb. Godwin Terwase Kave is a native of Mbaade, Mbagen district in Buruku Local Government Area of Benue State. He was born forty-nine years ago to the family of Mr. Celestine and Mrs. Susan Kave Anjembe — the 3rd child in a family of eight.
He enrolled into St. Francis Primary School Gboko in 1982 and passed out in 1987 with his First School Leaving Certificate. He proceeded to St. James Junior Seminary, Aliade in 1988 and graduated with Mt. Michael's Secondary School, Aliade in 1993. He later transited to the Federal University of Technology, Yola to read Geology in 1995, graduating with Second Upper Division in 2001.
Between 2019 and 2022, Kave obtained a Master of Science degree in Economic Geology/Mineral Exploration at the University of Calabar, followed by a Ph.D. in Mineral Exploration at the same institution in 2025. He has attended several conferences and workshops across the globe and has many publications to his credit.
Started his working career during NYSC as a Field Engineer Trainee, later confirmed as Field Engineer specialising in oil and gas wells drilling support, well intervention and pipeline maintenance services.
Moved to Port Harcourt to take up the role of Pumping Services Engineer/Coordinator.
Joined Topline Nig Ltd as Pumping & Hydroservices Manager, broadening his technical leadership.
Founded Pumpking Oilfield Services Ltd, an oil and gas services company based in Port Harcourt, where he serves as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
Expanded into civil construction, solid minerals mining, environmental and waste management, and ancillary services through Sanctus Energy Services Ltd, also based in Port Harcourt.
