The Kave Economic Empowerment Foundation (KEEF) is a non-profit humanitarian organisation founded by Dr. Godwin Terwase Kave — geologist, entrepreneur, UN Ambassador of Peace and lifelong servant of the people.
KEEF was established to formalise and expand the decades of personal philanthropic work Dr. Kave has quietly carried out across Benue State — from building churches, bridges and roads, to drilling boreholes, sponsoring students and championing peaceful co-existence in crisis-prone communities.
The Foundation operates across the three Senatorial Districts of Benue State, with a mandate to drive sustainable economic development, youth empowerment, healthcare access, education support and community infrastructure.
KEEF's work is organised around six key areas of impact, each addressing a critical need in the communities we serve.
Sponsoring students in JAMB registration, providing scholarships and supporting access to quality education across Benue State's three senatorial districts.
Organising free medical outreach programmes, supporting healthcare facilities and advocating for accessible, affordable healthcare in underserved communities.
Building and rehabilitating roads, bridges, boreholes and community facilities — connecting isolated communities and improving everyday living conditions.
Equipping young people and women with vocational skills, digital literacy, AI & ICT training and entrepreneurship support to drive economic independence.
Supporting smallholder farmers and promoting sustainable agricultural practices to improve food security and rural livelihoods across Benue State.
Championing peaceful co-existence in crisis-prone communities through dialogue, sports, cultural events and grassroots conflict resolution initiatives.
KEEF is not a new idea — it is the formalisation of a lifetime of service. Long before the Foundation was established, Dr. Kave was already building churches, opening roads, drilling boreholes and sponsoring students with his personal resources.
KEEF gives structure, scale and sustainability to that work — ensuring that the impact reaches more people, lasts longer and inspires others to give back to their communities.
